Each Year the Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin University in Berlin Invites International Students from all over the world for the Eight Weeks Summer Student Program in Germany.
Students from all over the world get the chance to work in their related fields. If you are willing to get an exciting cross-cultural experience, then this is a Great Opportunity for you. The program has also site visits.

Eligibility Criteria:
- In order to qualify for a place on the program you will need to meet the following requirements:
- International Students from all over the world.
- You are a student (not a Ph.D. candidate) in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or related disciplines.
- You should have completed at least two years of full-time study in your major discipline at the university level.
- You will remain registered as a student during your stay at HZB.
- You have a good knowledge of English, knowledge of German would be an advantage.
- You need to hand in a letter of reference by the end of the application period.
Benefits:
Berlin summer student program will provide the following benefits:
- Internship contract for 7 weeks to participate in an international project.
- Subsistence allowance will be provided for the entire duration, 1800€ for international participants and 1000€ gross for university students located in Berlin and Potsdam.
- 500€ travel expenses subsidy to help the students with the cost of travel between berlin and residence.
How to Apply for the Berlin Summer Internship Program 2022 :
- The applicants have to apply online through the official website of the HZB under the careers section.
- The applicants are required to provide personal data including name, email, gender, date of birth, nationality, etc.
- The applicants must provide the details of their present and previous university or college.
- You must mention the two priority areas of your interest in research and the kind of research you wish to pursue.
- The applicants are required to upload their CV and a copy of their passport.
- The other supporting documents should be uploaded.
- The letter of reference can be inserted online or can be uploaded.
- In the section of the reference letter, you must have an email from your referee.
